Bari Schanerman

I am the architect of my life and my passion is helping professionals and businesses/ organizations figure out what they truly want and need, so they can course correct continuously to get to their Happy Island now and live there by choice.

I grew up in N.J. and after a short detour to upstate NY, I landed in Miami for college, and never left. In my free time I can be found reading, listening to podcasts, watching tennis (playing occasionally), snow skiing, and bringing people together that should know each other. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention spending time with my amazing family which is easy when living in close proximity!

After College

  • Chapter 1
    Financial Services Industry – 18 Years

    🌴 Accounting Clerk to VP/Treasurer in Banks
    🌴 CFO to Business Development/Assistant Manager in a Credit Union (non-profit).

    Discovered the importance of good leadership and great people skills and the scarcity of this combination in the Corporate world.

  • Chapter 2
    Professional volunteer in the schools and community

    🌴 Served on a variety of boards in different leadership capacities.

    Discovered the cost of all the drama without great leadership. The experiences I had led me down the path to wondering about human behavior and wanting to learn more.

  • Chapter 3
    Learned about coaching

    🌴 Combining what I learned in the coaching space with mentoring, consulting, facilitating and teaching allows me now to spend my time building relationships and connecting people with resources, as well as new creative possibilities, which is where my passion lives.

    Discovered my love for helping others define success on their own terms and find their Happy Islands.
